Livable is a purpose-driven not-for-profit providing a comprehensive range of NDIS, Aged Care and Family Service solutions to the Mid North Coast and Northern NSW communities.
With over 30 years of local experience, we believe in working alongside individuals so they can live their best life, their way. We aim to empower the people we support, inspire them to continue living independently in their own homes and help them achieve their goals in a caring and supportive environment.
Our Vision
An inclusive community where everyone gets a fair go.
Our Mission
To create opportunities for all to flourish.
Our Values
Founded in 1988, Livable was created by local Clarence Valley stakeholders who saw a need for a community-focused organisation. Over time, we have grown from a collection of smaller projects into a single, unified organisation with a strong commitment to supporting people across the region.
Previously known as CRANES, we have continued to evolve – expanding our services and workforce to walk alongside participants in NDIS, Aged Care, and Family Services.
Today, Livable is a leading not-for-profit provider across the Mid North Coast and Northern NSW, employing close to 200 staff across our base offices in Grafton and Coffs Harbour.
Our strategic plan for the next five years is currently being finalised. It will guide our future direction, foster innovation, and strengthen our commitment to creating opportunities for all to flourish.
Livable acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of this nation. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians and Ancestors of the land where we all come together. We pay our respects to our Elders past, present and emerging in the future. We acknowledge and respect the land on which we work and deliver our services, between the freshwater rivers to the salty seas.
Livable is committed to promoting reconciliation throughout our services and through the many ways we engage with our community. Our vision for reconciliation is a united and inclusive community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples knowledge, cultures and perspectives are respected and integrated into all aspects of our organisation.
We strive to foster genuine relationships, promote understanding, and actively support the empowerment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Through engagement, collaboration, education, and proactive initiatives, we aim to acknowledge our shared history, bridge cultural divides and create an equitable society for all.
To further this commitment, our Aboriginal Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people access suitable community services and culturally appropriate support and advice. For more information on how we can support you, contact us.
