It’s a temporary solution while you wait for your permanent home.

Medium Term Accommodation might be useful if you are:

Waiting for home modifications to be completed
Leaving hospital or an aged care facility
Waiting for your Supported Independent Living (SIL) arrangements to be finalised

The NDIS may fund Medium Term Accommodation for up to 90 days, and the funding covers the cost of where you stay, but doesn’t include living costs, or the costs of the care supports you may need.
