The Board of Livable is delighted to announce the appointment of Michelle Allen as Chief Executive Officer.
Michelle has been serving as Acting CEO and, following a comprehensive process, the Board is pleased to confirm her in the role permanently.
Michelle brings more than 12 years of experience with Livable and has built a strong reputation for leadership, integrity and a deep commitment to the people and communities the organisation supports. Her extensive knowledge of Livable’s services, workforce and community partnerships positions her strongly to lead the organisation into its next chapter.
Chair of Livable’s Board, Jo Sutherland, said Michelle’s appointment reflects both her outstanding leadership and the Board’s confidence in her vision for the future.
“Michelle has demonstrated exceptional leadership during her time with Livable and particularly while acting in the CEO role. She understands our organisation, our communities and our purpose, and she leads with authenticity, compassion and clarity,” Ms Sutherland said.
“Her ability to listen, connect with people and translate insights into practical solutions is one of her greatest strengths. Michelle has built strong relationships across our organisation and has a genuine passion for supporting our workforce, participants and their families.”
Well known for her approachable leadership style, Michelle maintains a strong presence across Livable’s service footprint and is highly regarded by staff for her collaborative and people-focused approach.
Michelle said she was honoured to be appointed CEO of Livable.
