About the role:

As a Lifestyle Support Worker, you’ll join a dedicated team committed to delivering personalised care and support to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities and those aged over 65. You will create and foster an environment that supports our participants to build and live the life they choose.

Your day may include:

  • Delivering high-quality individualised support in the participant’s home or a community setting.
  • Assisting with everyday tasks such as personal care, medication administration, cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings
  • Adhering to specialist plans and collaborating with support networks

Who we’re looking for:

  • You’ll have a Certificate III in Individual Support or an equivalent qualification.
  • You’ll be reliable, empathetic, compassionate, and adaptable with a can-do caring attitude.
  • You’ll be willing to support others with personal care, light domestic duties and fit to undertake the physical requirements of customer support, including the capacity to lift 10 kilograms unassisted.
  • You’ll also have excellent communication skills and are willing to work with our mobile phone app.
  • Importantly, you’ll live by Livable’s values of compassion, innovation, integrity and excellence.

To be successful, you will need:

  • First Aid / CPR certificate
  • Working With Children’s Check (WWCC)
  • National police check
  • Driver’s licence and own insured vehicle

The successful candidate will be required to complete the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module or provide evidence of completion. You will also be required to demonstrate entitlement to work in Australia and to disclose any pre-existing injury or disease that may be adversely affected by undertaking the inherent requirements of the position.
