Part-time (48 hours per fortnight – School Terms Only).

We’re currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Supported Playgroup Coordinator to join our Family Services team on a part-time contract, 48 hours per fortnight, school terms only. In this role, you will deliver playgroups in community venues across the Clarence Valley.

About the Role 

As a Supported Playgroup Coordinator, you will: 

  • Provide parents and carers of young children (0-5) with inclusive play-based activities and learning experiences that are culturally appropriate and responsive to the specific needs of the children and their families 
  • Provide opportunities for parents and carers to interact with others and build a sense of connection. 
  • Provide accurate and timely administrative skills within the CAFS program. 
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal teams and external services to support integrated service delivery. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to actively promote Livable Supported Playgroups to families, community partners, and service providers. 
  • Positively promote Livable’s Vision, Mission, and Values throughout the organisation and wider community. 

About You 

You will bring an energetic and enthusiastic approach, and a thorough knowledge of early childhood development. Have strong communication skills and ability form positive relationships with parents, carers and children. 

To be considered for this role, you will hold a minimum of: 

  • Cert 111 in Early Childhood Education 
  • 3 years industry experience in Community Services or an Early Childhood setting 

You will also bring: 

  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Strong time management and organisational skills  
  • A positive, practical and solutions-focused approach 
  • A valid Working With Children Check 
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check 
  • Current Drivers Licence 
  • First Aid Certificate + CPR 

You will also be required to complete the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module or provide evidence of prior completion.
