Full-time fixed term for 12 months.

Are you passionate about empowering people to live the life they choose? At Livable, we believe in supporting people to live their life, their way. Through our NDIS, Aged Care, and Family Services, our mission is simple yet powerful: to create opportunities for all to flourish.

We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Scheduling Officer for a full-time, 12-month contract (38 hours per week) based in our Grafton and/or Coffs Harbour office. For the right candidate, this role may lead to a permanent full-time position. If you thrive on connecting the right people with the right support and are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Scheduling Officer, you’ll play a key role in making sure the right support workers are matched with the right participants across our NDIS and Aged Care programs. You’ll be responsible for creating efficient, thoughtful schedules that align with each participant’s individual plan, while also keeping in mind funding guidelines, award conditions, and service standards. If you’re someone who enjoys staying organised, working with purpose, and making a positive difference every day, this could be the perfect role for you!

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure rostering tasks focus on aligning customer support needs with staff skills, while optimising efficiency, maximising resource utilisation, and supporting seamless service delivery.
  • Interpret relevant Award conditions and apply them to rostering practices.
  • Identify rostering errors, determine reasons and decrease error rate over time.
  • Identify improvements in rostering processes, in collaboration with the service team and rostering officers and implement continuous improvement changes as required.
  • Work proactively with all internal stakeholders to ensure the effective rostering and smooth running of each service.

About You

  • Certificate III in either Business Administration or Community Services or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar scheduling role.
  • An energetic, can-do attitude with a strong sense of reliability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with confidence using basic technology (eg. mobile apps).
  • Have completed, or willing to complete prior to commencing:
    • NDIS mandatory worker orientation module
    • NDIS worker screening check
    • Working with Children and Police Checks
